This Sunday, August 1st, we jump back into our Body Life series that we started at the beginning of the summer. We'll take a look at the topic of humility by diving into God's Word to discover together what it is, why it's important for us to study and how we can live our lives in such a way to express it.
Jesus is the perfect example of humility as seen all throughout the gospels. The New Testament writer, Paul, expresses the depth of Jesus' humility in chapter 2 of Philippians. The question for all of us is what are we going to do with this call to be humble as Christ was humble? Are we going to work it out day by day, or are we going to discard as something that's not worth it or is too hard. Let's study it together this Sunday. Don't miss this opportunity to bring a friend.

New Believers Class: "I’m Saved… Now What?"
Our Discipleship Director, Stephanie Rucker, along with the help of Maureen Pavelec, will conduct a New Believers Class during the month of August. If you are a new believer, or you want to be refreshed in the basics of our faith, please sign up on the Connection Card in the bulletin, or email Stephanie at stephanie@pathwaycc.org. The class will look at God’s redemptive plan, spiritual maturity, Bible study, prayer and giving, and how to share one’s testimony. Ultimate Frisbee for Haiti
We invite you to join us for a fund-raising event to help OLTCH ministries in Haiti. Youth ages 10 and up plus all adults are invited to participate in an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament beginning at 5:30PM. The cost is $5.00 per player, FREE for spectators. Put together your own team of 7 to 12 players or come out and we’ll assign you to a team. Bring along a light and dark colored t-shirt. For every point scored, Subway in Spring Grove will donate $1.00. Donations are also welcome. After the tournament, Christian Band Oceans In Love will give an acoustic concert while everyone enjoys food donated from Subway, Kennie’s Market, Rita’s and Martin’s Potato Chips.
